Terms of Service

1. Agreement and provider

These Terms govern the AutoPostPlanner macOS application and official website, provided by Hakan Hasan Karakoyun, operating AutoPostPlanner in Germany ("AutoPostPlanner", "we", "us"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. Questions may be sent to hakanhasankarakoyun@gmail.com.

2. The service

AutoPostPlanner is a local-first creator tool for preparing media, connecting eligible accounts through OAuth, saving drafts, scheduling delivery, and sending creator-approved content through official social-platform APIs. Features vary by platform, account type, sandbox status, API approval, region, and provider policy.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for your Mac, local database, network access, provider accounts, and authorized actions. Keep device credentials secure and promptly disconnect any compromised account.

4. User control and consent

AutoPostPlanner does not publish merely because an account is connected. You choose the creator, media, caption, destination, privacy, and time, then confirm the final consent controls. A schedule instructs the app to attempt delivery; it is not a guarantee that a provider will publish or keep content available.

5. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of your content. You grant AutoPostPlanner only the limited permission needed to store, transform, preview, and send content as you direct. You represent that you have all rights, licences, releases, music permissions, and consents needed to use and publish it. You remain responsible for captions, disclosures, advertising claims, privacy choices, and legal compliance.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use AutoPostPlanner to:

• publish unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or harmful material;
• impersonate others or connect an account without authorization;
• bypass platform review, privacy, rate, quota, or access controls;
• distribute malware or interfere with the service or provider APIs;
• scrape, resell, or misuse provider or user data; or
• violate a platform's terms, community rules, or developer policies.

7. TikTok and other third-party platforms

TikTok, Google/YouTube, Meta/Instagram, and other destinations are independent third parties. AutoPostPlanner is not endorsed by or affiliated with them. Their terms, privacy policies, music rules, moderation, quotas, and eligibility also apply. Sandbox or unaudited TikTok Direct Posts may be limited to Only you. A provider may delay, reject, remove, restrict, or discontinue content or API access, and AutoPostPlanner cannot override that decision.

8. Availability and changes

Publishing depends on your Mac, local services, queue worker, database, network, valid authorization, provider availability, and media eligibility. We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal compliance, platform rules, or API changes. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the data processed, purposes, recipients, retention, and your rights. By using a connected-platform feature, you instruct us to send the selected content and metadata to that provider.

10. Intellectual property

AutoPostPlanner's software, branding, interface, and documentation are protected by law. Except as permitted by law or an applicable software licence, you may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create a competing service from protected parts of AutoPostPlanner.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost reach or revenue, provider moderation, failed schedules, deleted content, or third-party outages. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service, disconnect providers, and delete local data at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, illegal use, material breach, or provider-policy compliance. Provisions that by nature should survive remain effective after termination.

13. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be presented through the website or app where required. German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Mandatory statutory venues remain unaffected.
