Delete local data and revoke access.
AutoPostPlanner is local-first. You stay in control of stored media, schedules, connections, and provider authorization.
1. Disconnect an account
Open Accounts in AutoPostPlanner, select the connected destination, and choose Disconnect. This removes the connection and its encrypted authorization tokens from the local app database.
2. Delete posts and media
Remove drafts and eligible scheduled posts from the post detail view. Remove uploaded assets from the Media Library when they are no longer referenced. Provider-side posts that were already published must be deleted on that provider.
3. Revoke provider authorization
For TikTok, open TikTok Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions. For Google/YouTube, open your Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps. For Meta/Instagram, use Accounts Center → Password and security → Apps and websites. Remove AutoPostPlanner there to invalidate provider-side access.
4. Remove all local application data
Quit AutoPostPlanner and use the app's reset/delete-local-data control before uninstalling. This removes the locally configured database, encrypted credentials, uploads, thumbnails, schedules, and audit attempts. Uninstalling alone may not remove a separately configured Docker database or media folder.
