Frequently asked

Common questions.

Does AutoPostPlanner publish without asking?

No. You choose the account, media, destination, privacy, and schedule, then confirm a final consent summary.

Why is my TikTok post private?

TikTok restricts unaudited or sandbox Direct Post clients. AutoPostPlanner forces Only you visibility until production access is approved.

Which Instagram formats are supported?

The scheduler supports Reels, feed images or videos, and Stories for API-eligible professional Business accounts. Provider eligibility still applies.

What happens if a publish request fails?

The destination shows its failure state and provider response. Retryable jobs use controlled retries, and idempotency prevents an already successful destination from publishing twice.

Where is my media stored?

The desktop MVP is local-first. Media, schedules, account records, and encrypted tokens remain in the locally configured app environment unless sent to a selected provider for publishing.

How do I remove access?

Disconnect the account in AutoPostPlanner and revoke AutoPostPlanner from the provider's connected-app settings. See the data deletion guide for exact steps.

Need to remove your data?

Use the complete deletion and provider-revocation guide. It covers local records, connected accounts, OAuth tokens, and provider-side access.
